Multi Trade Operative

About the role

We are looking for a Multi Trade Operative to carry out responsive repairs, planned maintenance and property improvement works across Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas. You will have a primary trade and be confident taking on a range of general building and maintenance tasks. Most work is in occupied homes and client buildings, so you will deal directly with customers, tenants, housing association staff, care home teams and school facilities staff, and represent APBS professionally on every job.

What you will do

• Carpentry, plumbing, plastering, patch repairs and tiling
• Responsive repairs and planned maintenance to a high standard
• General building and property maintenance work
• Working safely and keeping customers informed throughout the job

What you need

• A primary trade with experience across other maintenance trades
• Experience of responsive repairs or property maintenance, ideally in social housing
• A practical, flexible approach to different types of work
• Good communication with customers and clients
• Full UK driving licence
